dolly and her doodles

My sister was nicknamed "Gabby" by an American uncle because, and I quote, she just keeps on gabbin'. I, on the other hand, can also be called "Chat"...as in chatterbox.

It's no wonder then that Isabel, my two-year old niece, is called "Dolly" because she's so madaldal e (madal-dolly)...she takes after her parents, aunt, and grandmothers.

But her creative genius she takes after her lolo Fred (my dad) and aunty-ninang (moi), thank you very much!

What can I say? She's IS a genius! Just look at her drawings...aren't they a masterpiece? (she drew them on her IPad) Ok...I MAYBE just a tinee bit biased here. (Maybe? just a BIT? You think?) Can't help it. Am so proud!




Her doodles reminded me of similar drawings I had made but nobody gave a big deal about them. Granted, I was already in 5th Grade then when I made the drawings, but still, pretty good, huh?
